ChemWipes Surface Contamination Testing
ChemWipes are surface wipes. Detect and measure toxic chemicals on surfaces.
How to use the ChemWipe? Simply wipe the surface with the ChemWipe, then compare the color formed on the wipe with the color chart in the comparator.
Because of the uniform color change on the wipe, you can know the amount of chemical on the surface using the color comparator.

The colors on the color chart match certain amounts of target substance. By matching the color on the wipe with one color in the chart, you can determine how much substance collected on the wipe. If you know the wiped surface area (cm2 or in2), you can know the average concentration of the substance on the surface.
Beside the color wheel, the color comparator has gray scale wheel to help improve the color matching process.
