Organic vapors breakthrough indicator for filters. Is a colorimetric indicator that indicates the saturation of filters. The indicator is reliable and cost effect means for protection from exposure to organic vapors. Color changes from orange to red to indicates filters saturation.

Organic vapors include:

  1. Acetone and Acetonitrile
  2. Acids (such as Acetic acid, Hydrochloric acid, Trifloroacetic acid Trichloroacetic Acid) and Acrylonitrile
  3. Aliphatic hydrocarbons such as hexane and Aromatic Hydrocarbons such as benzene, toluene and xylenes
  4. Chlorinated hydrocarbons such as carbon tetrachloride, chloroform and  methylene chloride)
  5. Ethanol, Ethyl Acetate, Ethyl acrylate and Ethyl ether
  6. Gasoline
  7. HFIP (Hexafluoroisopropanol)
  8. Methanol and Methyl acrylate
  9. Naphtha
  10. Phenol, Sulfolane and THF.

Easy to connect to the ¾ inch female NPT outlet of filter using the ¾ inch male NPT threading at the indicator. It operates at temperatures 4oC to 32oC (39oF to 89.6oF) and humidities 5% RH to 85%RH.  3.5 inch tall, 1 inch diameter. Observe the bright vibrant color change from all directions. The unique design prevents any color change due to exposure to contaminants in the surrounding environment. It changes color only when filter is saturated. Service life of one year plus one year shelf life.
