Mercury filter change indicator. It is a colorimetric indicator that indicates the exhaustion of filters. The indicator is reliable and cost effect means for protection from exposure to toxic mercury & mercury II compounds vapors. It changes color from off white to peach when filter is saturated with mercury & mercury II compounds vapors. Hence alerting the user to replace the exhausted filter.
Connects easily to the ¾ inch female NPT outlet of the filter using the ¾ inch male NPT threading at the bottom of the indicator. Bright vibrant color change from all directions. Unique design prevents any color change due to exposure to contaminants in the surrounding environment. It changes color only when filter is saturated.
