Organic Vapors Filter Breakthrough Indicator Low-Flow-Filters (BTI LFF) – PN 119-0000

The BTI LFF is a breakthrough indicator for low-flow filters. It indicates the saturation and exhaustion of organic vapors in hplc waste container filters. The indicator is reliable and cost effect means for protection from exposure to toxic organic vapors.

For proper identification and tracking, each indicator has unique serial number

Features:

  • Real-time indicator
  • Direct read
  • Respond to wide range of organic solvents
  • Reliable and cost effective

How Does the BTI LFF Works?
When filter becomes consumed, toxic gases and vapors breakthrough it. The gases and vapors then enter the BTI LFF and chemically reacts with the indicating sensor producing vivid color change. The sorption media on top of the BTI LFF traps traces of contaminants from escaping to the outside environment. It also protects the colorimetric indicator from changing color due to exposure to contaminants in the surrounding environment.
