Glutaraldehyde Filter Change Indicator Low-flow-filters is a colorimetric indicator that indicates the saturation and exhaustion of hplc waste container filters. The indicator is reliable and cost effect means for protection from exposure to glutaraldehyde vapor. The indicator change color from Light brown to dark cyan when filters are saturated with glutaraldehyde.

Acrolein and aldehydes react with approximately the same sensitivity. No other interferences are known. You can easily attach the indicator into filter outlet (closed pores foam adapter is required; please contact us for details). The BTI LFF operates at temperatures 4oC to 32oC (39oF to 89.6oF) and humidities 5% RH to 85%RH. The indicator is 3.0 inch tall; 3/8” inch diameter and you can observe the bright vibrant color change from all directions. The unique design of the indicator prevents any color change due to exposure to contaminants in the surrounding environment. It changes color only when filter is saturated. The indicator has extended service life of 1 year plus 14 months shelf life.
