Hydrogen sulfide and ammonia are the two main and most harmful gas components of odors produced in livestock, poultry and dairy Farm’s operations. When these gases are airborne, they can pose serious threats to human, animal, environmental, and community health. Filters and carbon scrubbers are commonly used to reduce and control the emission of these gases. The use of Chemteq odor control filter change indicator on the outlet of filter or carbon scrubber alerts the user when filter or carbon scrubber is saturated and exhausted and ensures that these harmful gases do not escape to the surrounding environment.
